It’s time to clean out those cabinets, dresser drawers, your kitchen table tops, even those window sills and bring all of your unused, expired and unwanted Rx medications to your nearest drug take back location. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) will be holding their next scheduled Rx Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, 26 April from 10AM to 2PM.
During this time, the Eagle Ridge Institute Prevention team will be visiting different locations throughout the OKC metro area. They will be providing information on the safe use, security and disposal for your Rx and other medications. We want you to know that special disposal sites throughout the OKC metro area are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This service has been provided through the cooperation of your local law enforcement agencies and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN). These services are available to keep you and all of our community members safe from the potential dangers associated with Rx and other drug misuse.
