On Saturday, March 5th– the American Lung Association (ALA) sponsored the 2011 Fight for Air Climb.  Held at the First National Center in downtown Oklahoma City, Fight for Air Climb is the ALA’s annual fundraiser to promote a smoke-free environment.   Climbers commit to climbing 29 flights of stairs in support of a breathe-easy Oklahoma.  This year, youth from Teens Working Together (TWT), Crutcho Schools, Boys and Girls Club/Students Working Against Tobacco (S.W.A.T.) and Metro OKC Coalition members helped to support fellow MOC member and event chair- Danielle Vollmar, by volunteering at check spots and cheering on participants as they completed their climb.
